The Henan Zhongmai Yongan Carbon Co., Ltd. is located at the city of Gongyi, Henan, being a neighbor of Zhongmai Yongan Aluminium Co., Ltd. The company was commissioned into normal production in October 2002 and product from the company is carbon. Anode carbon annual production is 70,000 ton, which is a complementary product in electrolytic aluminum raw materials for the aluminum factory. At present, both the equipment and the production process employed in the factory are advanced in the same trade all over the country. The products are controlled by PLC and computers. Charge mixture is automatically controlled and advanced electrostatic dust-removal and electric tar arrest dust-removal purifying systems are installed at calcinations, baking and charge mixing stages respectively, ensuring environment protection and production indexes meeting the national standards in force.

(2)Henan Zhongmai Yongan Electric Power Co., Ltd.

The designed installation of generator sets is 2 X 100,000 kW and the annual power generation is 1.4 billion kilowatt-hour.

The Henan Mianchi Zhongmai Aluminum Electric Power Industry Co., Ltd. is a class two state-owned large-scale enterprise and one of the subsidiaries of the Tianjin Zhongmai Investment Group, which purchased the former in February 2004. The company consists of member enterprises of the Jianfa Electric Power Co., Ltd., Aluminum Company, Carbon Shareholding Co., Ltd. and Huimeng Hotel. The power plant has installed capacity of 120,000 kW and can generate electric power 800 million kilowatt-hour per year. The company can produce aluminum ingots (aluminum alloy bars) 125,000 ton and anode carbon blocks 70,000 ton each year. Its fixed assets is 2.15 billion yuan and its total industrial production value 2 billion yuan with sales revenue and profit and tax 2 billion yuan and 150 million yuan, respectively. The company was listed at the 997 in the 1948 large-scale industrial enterprises inside the country in 2003 and 56 in the enterprises with strong comprehensive economic strength in the province and 45 in the operational performance sequence of the designated enterprises (groups) in the province. The company has been granted with different honorable titles including the Enterprise with Double Qualifications issued by the Ministry of Electric Power, the Provincial Civilized Organization, the Provincial Enterprise with Credit AA, the Henan Ten Best Honest Enterprise, the Provincial Advanced Collective in Discipline Inspection and Supervision System, the Provincial Advanced Organization in Moral and Political Work, etc.

The Tiantan branded aluminum ingots for remelting applications, main products of the Henan Mianchi Zhongmai Aluminum and Electric Power Industry Co., Ltd., are made with the technologies of large-scale prebaked-anode type cell 160KA and 200KA developed by the Shenyang Aluminum and Magnesium Designing Institute and the Guiyang Aluminum and Magnesium Designing Institute, respectively. The national standards of GB/T119663 Aluminum Ingots for Remelting Applications and GB698786 Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy Chemical Analysis Methods are strictly abided by in the processes. Products are salable in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong and Xiamen totaling more than 10 cities and sold far to foreign countries of USA, Luxemburg, Korea and Japan.

In order to realize the target of making the company even stronger and reach double ten-billion yuan of total production value and sales volume within the coming three to five years, the company will, under leadership of the Tianjin Zhongmai Investment Group, put special emphasis on technical innovation, expedite industrial structure readjustment and product upgrading steps, continue to cultivate new economic increase points.
